Oppo R9 Set For Announcement This March 17th

Oppo, the company that has grabbed headlines in recent times with the announcement of its Super VOOC which can charge a dead battery to full capacity in a matter of 15 minutes as well as its SmartSensor OIS technology, it back to wow the masses more with their latest teaser confirming how the upcoming device which will be known as the Oppo R9, will be announced this 17th of March.

After all, we do know that the Oppo R9 has been a long time in coming, the thing is, we are not quite sure as to when it will be officially revealed. Well, all doubts and questions should be laid to rest when the 17th of March rolls around, where it has been touted to the possible successor to the Oppo R7 that debuted in the previous year.

After all, the China-hailed company has already put up a fair number of large advertisements all over the myriad of subway as well as bus stations in China, and one of the examples can be seen above. The ad also points to an event that will be held on the 17th of March, where Oppo will reveal a handset with the figure “9” in its moniker. It does not get any more no-brainer than that, I guess.
