Right now the only brands that gamers can choose from include ASUS, Dell, and Alienware. The prices will vary depending on which model you go for, but the cheapest bundle will be priced starting at $1,500, which is pretty much what Oculus had said would cost back in 2015. The prices will increase as you pick the more powerful options.
However if you’d rather not spend that much, you can always opt to emulate the hardware used by these brands and build your own computer, which can sometimes result in a cheaper build if you don’t mind going for different brands/models, like instead of opting for an SSD, you could save money and opt for a HDD instead, and etc.
All these bundles will come with an Oculus Rift headset which is priced at $600 by itself. In the meantime if you’d like to see if your PC is capable of supporting the Oculus Rift, you can download a tool that checks your PC’s hardware. If you’d like to pre-order a bundle, head on over to either Amazon, Best Buy, or the Microsoft Store to explore the different options.
