EA is going to release a new Battlefield Hardline expansion next month called Betrayal and it brings new maps, weapons, vehicles and more. As the name suggests, this expansion extends the gameplay after you’ve successfully conducted a heist and escaped from the police. Enemies lurk in the shadows and there are confrontations in back alleys and prisons as you try and hold on to your take.
Alcatraz, Cemetery, Thin Ice and Chinatown are the four new maps included in this expansion. There are also seven new weapons, two new vehicles, new assignments and Legendary weapons camos and the ability to customize primary weapons and uniforms with the Gun Bench Super Feature and test them at the range.
All users will also get a base game update that brings 11 new weapons and new server presets. Even Gold Battlepack opened after the update may also feature a weapon license voucher which is a Distinguished class item that unlocks an entire weapon license.
EA says that the Betrayal expansion is “bursting with new experiences” whether players are customizing their weapons and uniforms with the Gun Bench or getting into gunfights inside a prison. It’s going to add another dimension to the gameplay.
A release date hasn’t been confirmed yet but EA says that Battlefield Hardline Betrayal expansion will be released in March.
