In terms of Marvel TV shows on Netflix, last we heard there were at least four titles lined up. We’ve already seen two of them in the form of Daredevil and Jessica Jones. The third will be Luke Cage and the fourth being Iron Fist. We already know who Luke Cage will be played by (the same actor from Jessica Jones, FYI), and now we have our Iron Fist.
According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, it seems that Iron Fist’s actor will be played by Finn Jones. This has yet to be officially confirmed so take it with a grain of salt for now. For those wondering who Finn Jones is, he is none other than the actor who plays Ser Loras Tyrell in HBO’s Game of Thrones.
It is unclear as to when Iron Fist will be making its debut, but Luke Cage has been set for a release later this year, so given that we’ve seen one new series released per year, there is a good chance that Iron Fist will debut in 2017. Unfortunately apart from Finn Jones potentially playing the role of Danny Rand, it is unclear as to who else will be casted.
In the meantime Jessica Jones has been confirmed for season 2, and Daredevil’s season 2 is expected to make its debut next month, so safe to say that with the TV series and movies combined, the next few years should prove to be rather fruitful for comic book fans.
