mozart-in-the-jungle

Amazon’s video streaming service is actually much better than its music streaming service. The company has heavily invested in original content and the bet has paid off. One of its original shows, Mozart in the Jungle, recently picked up two Golden Globes. Perhaps that’s why it’s not surprising to see that Amazon has renewed the show for a third season.

Amazon hasn’t really confirmed the plot of the third season but it does say that the new season will begin production later this year. It will continue the story of the talented musicians that are the main characters in this show. Season three will see the characters take their talents to Europe.

So far Amazon’s originals have raked in four Golden Globes, last year Transparent won two, and this time around Mozart in the Jungle brought home the awards. To celebrate the win, Amazon also streamed the show for free for a limited time like it did last year when Transparent won the awards.

Season 3 will obviously only be available to those who subscribe to Amazon Prime. That’s one of the advantages of paying $99 per year for this service, not only do you get free two-day shipping, but you also get access to several online services from Amazon. Prime Video is one of them.
