We all more or less know that the upcoming LG flagship device will be known as the LG G5, where its Quick Phone cover has already been revealed, while alleged benchmarks results have been spotted. The thing is, there might be a “Lite” version of its with a model known as the LG H840 being benchmarked, and hence, having some of its specifications revealed as well, leading to the very real possibility of an LG G5 Lite.
While we look forward to the LG G5’s official release this coming February 21st at MWC 2016 in Barcelona, Spain, the very fact that the LG G5 will carry the model number LG H830 (or LG F700, depending on where you’re at) makes the existence of an LG H840 all the more interesting.
A recent GFXBench listing points out that the LG H840 will sport 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, a 5.3” Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) display, and a Qualcomm octa-core Snapdragon 625 chipset that definitely makes it reside in the mid-range side of things, as opposed to the high end Snapdragon 820 that is tipped to power the LG G5. I guess everyone who is excited about this handset will just have to sit tight and play the patience card.
