Another purported schematic of the iPad Air 3 has been leaked online and it reiterates what the new tablet is expected to bring. From the looks of it iPad Air 3 really might come with a rear flash as well as a Smart Connector that Apple first introduced last year with iPad Pro. The four-speaker array that debuted with iPad Pro is likely to find its way to iPad Air 3 as well.
Just yesterday a purported iPad Air 3 case was leaked online and it basically reiterated everything that has been rumored so far about the upcoming tablet, the rear flash, Smart Connector and four-speaker array, everything.
Engadget reports that it has received these schematics from a “reliable source,” the schematics show that this tablet will be 9.7 inches like all of its predecessors with a design similar to that of iPad Pro. Listed dimensions show that this tablet might be 0.1 millimeters wider and 0.05 millimeters thicker than iPad Air 2.
Even though the upcoming tablet appears to be borrowing a lot of features introduced with iPad Pro it remains to be seen if this tablet will have support for Apple Pencil as well. Apple Pencil is what the company calls its $99 stylus for iPad Pro.
Apple is expected to hold an event in March to unveil the iPad Air 3 alongside an updated Apple Watch and possibly even the 4-inch iPhone that we’ve all been hearing so much about over the past few months.
