Is the iPhone 5se real? With the flop of the iPhone 5c, many would have assumed Apple might have taken away something from that lesson, but recent rumors have suggested that the phone could be launched as early as next month. Now assuming that’s true, a report from Macotakara (via MacRumors) has revealed additional details.
Now it is assumed that for the most part, the iPhone 5se will arrive in the same color options as the iPhones Apple has released to date. However the report claims that it will come in Silver, Space Grey, and apparently a Bright Pink option, similar to that of the iPod nano and iPod touch. Now you might think that maybe they got confused with the Rose Gold option.
Nope. According to the vendor that Macotakara spoke with, they have “confirmed” that it is not the same color as the iPhone 6s in Rose Gold. This will be a rather interesting option as Apple did try out bright and funky color options with the iPhone 5c, but then again we suppose it was really the price of the phone that led to its failure, not the color.
As the iPhone 5c wasn’t that much cheaper than the iPhone 5s, it did not make sense for customers to pay for the device. We’re not sure how Apple plans to differentiate themselves with the iPhone 5se, but perhaps they’ve learnt from their mistakes with the iPhone 5c. That being said, there are some who are skeptical about the phone’s launch in March, claiming that it would detract from other product releases, but we guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
