However if you wouldn’t mind companies paying more attention to the cameras on their tablet, Apple’s upcoming iPad might be worth checking out. A report from 9to5Mac has revealed that for the upcoming iPad, Apple is said to include a 12MP rear-facing camera whose sensor and quality is said to be comparable to the iPhone 6s.
This would also make the upcoming iPad’s camera better than Apple’s previous iPad launch, the iPad Pro, which only sports an 8MP sensor by the way. Of course there is more to image quality than just megapixels, but a higher resolution sensor probably wouldn’t hurt. So far the rumors are claiming that Apple could be dropping the “Air” branding from its 9.7-inch iPad lineup.
Instead, the upcoming device is said to be also known as the iPad Pro, except that it will be of the 9.7-inch variety. It is rumored to sport a Smart Connector, but no word on whether there will be Apple Pencil support. Also last we heard, it is planned for a launch on the 21st of March.
