MWC is around the corner and yes, Huawei will be in attendance. While the company might have been relatively unknown to the western world years ago, today they are quite a force to be reckoned with. In fact one of their more recent crowning achievements include shipping 10 million Huawei P8 Lite handsets.
That being said, it seems that Huawei has some new devices planned for MWC next week, and as you can see in the teaser image to the right, it looks like one of those devices might have stylus support. According to the rumors, the stylus won’t actually belong to a phone, but a hybrid laptop called the Huawei Matebook.
The reason why is because only a few months ago, Huawei unveiled the Huawei Mate 8 which means that launching a new phablet so soon doesn’t really make sense. That being said, the Matebook does sound like an interesting device. With the inclusion of a stylus, it sounds like Huawei might want to compete against the likes of Microsoft and Apple.
If the rumors are to be believed, the Matebook will sport a 12.9-inch display and will be powered by an Intel processor. It will run on Windows 10 and as per the teaser, it will most probably be aimed at the business user. Either way do check back with us next week for the official details.
