Better late than never is what we should always adopt when things go pear shaped as a deadline is missed. Of course, certain events will only happen once in your life, and if you miss it due to tardiness, then that is simply too bad. As for smartphones, thankfully they are eternally patient as they wait for the latest software or operating system update from the manufacturer, and here we are with word that the Huawei Honor 6 is all set to pick up the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.
There are reports trickling in from India that users have begun to receive the OTA (Over The Air) update, and the entire shebang would be approximately 700MB in size, where it will carry the build number to H60-L04C675B810 as well as the operating system of the latest Android major release. Needless to say, with that kind of file size, it would be best to make sure you are on a Wi-Fi network before performing any downloads, not to mention having a full battery – or at least half full one, so that Murphy’s Law can be kept at bay.
Interestingly enough, the Huawei Honor 7 over in Europe has already started to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.
