The announcements that most people were looking forward to at the Mobile World Congress 2016 are done and dusted. LG and Samsung have both announced their latest flagship handsets which will be out next month. Every year HTC competes with them in the high-end market. This time around it decided against unveiling the new handset at MWC and opted for conduct its own event in March. The company has now started teasing what’s likely going to be the HTC One M10.
HTC has started sending out emails to the press with a rather cryptic subject that reads “Power of 10,” the email includes the image posted above with a note that tells us to “Stay tuned for more.”
The company was present at Mobile World Congress 2016 where it unveiled some new mid-range Desire handsets but it didn’t show what everybody wanted to see: it’s next flagship handset.
It goes without saying that HTC has a lot riding on its next big handset as it struggles to keep up in the mobile market. The company will certainly be hoping that the One M10 help reverse its fortunes but that remains to be seen.
Rumor has it that HTC is going to conduct an event next month to unveil the One M10. The handset is expected to hit retail in the United States by the first week of May. HTC hasn’t confirmed any of this itself as yet.
