Galaxy S7, S7 Edge For All Four Major Carriers Passes Through The FCC

galaxy s7 s7 edge render 2It was confirmed not too long ago that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be unveiled on the 21st of February. However the next question is, if that is when the device will be announced, when will it go up for sale? Last we checked, the rumors had it pegged for the 11th of March, and now there is evidence to suggest it could be true.

Thanks to a sighting at the FCC (via PhoneArena), it seems that both the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge for all four major carriers – AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Sprint – have been spotted. We suppose this shouldn’t really be a surprise since for a while now, Samsung’s flagship phones have always found their way onto the four major carriers in the US, so the Galaxy S7 shouldn’t be any different.

While the FCC filing does not confirm when the phone will be released, usually FCC filings are a necessity for devices if they are planned for a launch in the US, so by filing them this early on ahead of its announcement, it would suggest that Samsung is planning on having the device ready for sale as soon as possible.

Of course this could be just be wishful thinking on our end, but either way if you are eyeing either device, remember to check back with us on the 21st of February during MWC 2016 for the details.
