Like we said, the phone has been leaked so many times that it would actually be surprising if you guys haven’t seen it already. However with the phone’s screen turned on, it does give us a better idea as to what we can expect. So far we have to say that we like what we see, and while it’s hard to tell what size the display it, we have heard it is of the 5.5-inch variety.
This is a change from last year where the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge were of the same size display-wise. However this year Samsung has reportedly shaken things up by giving the Galaxy S7 Edge a 5.5-inch display, while the Galaxy S7 packs a 5.1-inch display. We’re not sure then how the Galaxy S7 Edge+ will differentiate itself, assuming that the phone hasn’t been cancelled.
Samsung will be officially announcing the phones on the 21st of February where they will livestream the event. Those who are interested will be able to watch the stream on their computers, phones, or in an interesting twist this year, in virtual reality via the Samsung Gear VR.
