We are less than a week away from Samsung officially announcing their new flagship phones at MWC. However it seems that there will be little left to the imagination as photos and renders keep popping up regarding the next-gen Galaxy S handset. Just recently a bunch of renders made their way online, and now we have photos.
A recent post on Weibo (via SamMobile) has revealed a photo of the upcoming Galaxy S7 Edge, which for those unfamiliar is the curved variant of the Galaxy S7. The photo’s quality is kind of bad so it’s hard to make out the details of the phone, but basically it looks like the handset will be available in black, and despite the blurriness and fingerprint smudges, it still looks like a pretty sleek handset.
If the rumors are to be believed, the Galaxy S7 Edge is said to be the bigger of the two handsets. It is rumored that it will sport a 5.5-inch display versus the Galaxy S7’s rumored 5.1-inch display. This is certainly different from back in 2015 where both the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge has similar sized displays.
In any case this photo definitely seems to be in line with earlier photos and renders, but it’s still best taken with a grain of salt, but either way do check back with us this coming Sunday for all the official details.
