Microsoft has some excellent exclusive titles on Xbox and it would really make sense for the company to bring them over to Windows in order to boost the gaming credentials of the latest iteration of its operating system. According to a new rumor, that’s precisely what the company is planning to do. Rumor has it that Forza Motorsport 6 and Gears of War 4 might make their way to Windows 10.
It’s claimed that this is part of Microsoft’s strategy to offer more compelling games to Windows 10 users and routing them to the Windows Store as it will be the sole location for digital download of these titles.
If they do arrive for Windows 10, Forza Motorsport 6 and Gears of Wars 4 will be much appreciated by gamers, and since there exists a robust community of PC gamers, Microsoft can take this chance without worrying too much about whether this effort will bear any fruit.
The company did announce last week that Xbox One exclusive Quantum Break is going to be released for Windows 10 as well. Those who pre-order the game on Xbox One will get the Windows 10 version for free. Xbox head Phil Spencer has already said that Microsoft plans on making crossbuy a platform feature for the Xbox.
