Fallout 4 was released last year and it was an instant hit. The game has been available for a few months now so you have had ample time to explore the massive wasteland. If you just can’t wait for new content then today is your lucky day. Bethesda has confirmed today that the first Fallout 4 DLC is going to be released next month. It has also revealed what the first batch of downloadable content is going to bring for Fallout 4.
The first add-on content is called Automatron and it’s going to be released next month. Priced at $9.99 it brings a mysterious Mechanist that unleashes a horde of evil robots into the Commonwealth, including the devious Robobrain. Players will have to hunt them down and harvest their parts to build their own custom robot companions.
Wasteland Workship will arrive in April 2016 for $4.99. It will allow players to design and set cages to capture live creatures from raiders to Deathclaws. It brings a suite of new design options for settlements as well.
Far Harbor will be released for Fallout 4 in May 2016. Priced at $24.99 this DLC brings a new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency that leads players on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. It features the largest landmass for an add-on that Bethesda has ever created, hence the price, and it features new faction quests, lethal creatures, settlements and much more.
Bethesda says that this is just the beginning. It has plans for over $60 worth of new Fallout adventures and features that will be released throughout this year. Now that the DLC plan has extended the cost of the season pass will increase from $29.99 to $49.99. Those who have already bought the $29.99 season pass need not worry as nothing changes for them, they’ll receive all of the content without having to pay more money.
