FAA To Enforce Super Bowl No-Drone-Zone With Firepower

The Super Bowl is a No Drone Zone
It was just yesterday that we brought you word on how this year’s Super Bowl event will be different from all of the others, simply because there is a “No-Drone-Zone” that has been implemented. In other words, you are not supposed to bring your drone to the party, and even if you successfully smuggled it into the stadium somehow, it would be in your best interest to keep it hidden rather than flying. Why so, you ask? It looks like the FAA are going to be trigger happy as they intend to shoot down any drone in the vicinity. As for the range in which the No-Drone-Zone applies to, it would be extended for 32 miles in all directions, which shows that the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) are not horsing around.

All the more reason to leave your drone at home regardless of whether you are one of the 300,000 people who have already registered your flying toy with the authorities. After all, there are so many other ways to enjoy this year’s edition of Super Bowl rather than to create a commotion so that one can lay claim to being the owner of a shot-down drone, right? We do wonder whether such a ban on drones would be extended to other future sporting events.
