Eldar Murtazin did reveal some time last week through a tweet that touted how the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 would sport a battery that is capable of up to 17 hours of non-stop video playback, and at full brightness, too, on a solitary charge. Well, that is a rumor since nothing official from Samsung has been revealed just yet, so do take it with a grain of salt – and this includes all of the other rumors surrounding the Galaxy S7. Since then, Murtazin has a follow-up tweet on the matter, where one carries a diagram that does seem to imply as though the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be able to last for 48 hours straight, now how about that?
The screen-on time in that tweet measured approximately four and a half hours, while there is a brightness level that has been set at 75%. So far, the industry is looking at the very real possibility of the Samsung Galaxy S7 to arrive with a 3,000mAh battery within, which would be far larger than the 2,550mAh battery that is found in its predecessor.
Whatever the case is, with the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge being prepared for an unveiling over at MWC later this month, all should be revealed and known then.
