Given that Digicame-info has been spot on in the past with their leaks, it is safe to assume that what we are looking at here could be the real thing. So what can we expect from the EOS 80D? For starters, photographers can look forward to a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor with dual pixel CMOS AF.
It will be able to shoot continuously at 7fps, a 45-point AF system, 7560 pixel RGB + IR photometry sensor, an ISO range of 100-16,000, 100% field of view viewfinder, a 3-inch LCD display with touch capabilities, Full HD video recording at 60fps, HDR, built-in WiFi and NFC, along with an accompany app for smartphones.
No word on when the camera will be officially announced, but usually Digicame-info leaks come pretty close from the official announcement, so do check back with us soon for more updates.
