The new Apple TV is more powerful than all of its predecessors. It has an all new operating system as well as the ability to run applications. News services and experiences have since arrived to the Apple TV and the one Burberry has come up with now is truly unique. Burberry is bringing a shoppable fashion show to the Apple TV.
Burberry is bringing its first immediately shoppable runway collection to the Apple TV, it’s going to live stream its upcoming fashion show from London’s Kensington Gardens at 8am EST on Monday, February 22nd.
Apple TV owners will be able to tune into the live stream of the fashion show that’s also going to feature a performance by British musician Jake Bugg.
A shopping component is going to be a part of this experience as well. While it’s not technically possible to purchase physical items using the Apple TV, viewers will be able to request a call from a dedicated Burberry customer services representative to pre-order selected pieces that will be displayed in the brand’s runway show.
Apple TV users will also be able to re-watch the entire show and check out all of the looks in greater detail using the Apple Remote. Those who don’t have an Apple TV can tune into the fashion show as well via Burberry’s website, but they don’t get the incentive of requesting a call from a dedicated Burberry customer representative.
