These monitors come in the form of the XG2703-GS, which is a 27-inch monitor with an IPS display panel and a QHD resolution of 2560×1440. It also has a refresh rate of 165Hz and will also come with support for NVIDIA’s G-Sync technology which will see improvements made to games that also support the technology.
There is also the XG2401 which is a slightly smaller model with a 24-inch display. It will pack a Full HD resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. However instead of NVIDIA’s G-Sync technology, the XG2401 will support AMD’s FreeSync feature instead. It also comes with a 1ms response time, something that gamers usually look for in their monitors.
However if you’d rather get a bigger monitor, then the XF2701 might be for you. It sports a 27-inch Full HD display with similar refresh rates as the XF2401. It will also support AMD’s FreeSync technology, a 1ms response time, and it also comes with Game Mode features and a black stabilization function that helps with darker images.
Last but not least is the XF2700-4K. As its model number implies, this is a 27-inch monitor that will feature an Ultra HD display. It will use LED panels and it too will support AMD’s FreeSync. Its response time is slightly slower at 5ms, but we reckon it’s still fast enough to get the job done. ViewSonic is also boasting “future-proof” features like DisplayPort 1.2a and HDMI 2.0, amongst other ergonomic design features such as Flicker-Free technology and a Blue Light Filter.
The XG2703-GS will be priced at $1,217 and will be available in March. The XG2401 will be priced at $404, the XF2701 at $529, and both are expected to begin shipping later this month. The XG2700-4K is priced at $913 and will also be shipping late February.
