Looking for a ride to somewhere? You could use Uber to get there. However what if you wanted something delivered to you, like a hot meal? There is Uber’s meal delivery service called UberEATS, but the downside is that it is only limited to select cities, and its service is also limited to lunch.
However the good news is that is changing. According to a report from Fortune, Uber has confirmed that their meal delivery service has expanded and will now offer all-day service to 10 different cities in the US. When exactly will they be expanding remains to be seen, but it will cover major cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and Austin.
The standalone UberEATS app is expected to be launched by the end of March, and when that happens, Uber’s lunch time delivery service will be renamed to Instant Delivery. Note that the lunch time delivery and UberEATS will be different services, in which the former saw drivers keep prepared meals in their cars ready for delivery, while the latter appears to deliver food from different restaurants by picking up orders when they are ready.
So if you’re the busy type who doesn’t have time to go out and grab a meal themselves, then this new UberEATS service might be worth checking out upon its launch.
