Both laptops will pack the same hardware under the hood and offer up the same configurations for the most part, the only difference is that the ThinkPad T560 will offer slightly longer battery life at 16 hours, versus the ThinkPad T460 which will offer slightly less battery at 14 hours, although both are still pretty commendable.
Under the hood, an Intel 6th gen Core U processor can be found, but users can configure it up to a Core i7 processor. Both laptops will support up to 32GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage or 512GB of SSD storage. Display sizes can be chosen between 14-inch up to Full HD, or 15.6-inches up to a 2560×1440 resolution.
In terms of graphics, users can opt to keep the Intel Integrated graphics, or upgrade to an NVIDIA GeForce 940MX with up to 2GB of VRAM. There will also be Dolby Home Theater v4 audio technology, so watching movies on the go should be a pretty pleasurable experience.
