Some of the biggest companies on the planet are going to come together in Barcelona to show off their new products. The Mobile World Congress stage is used every year by the likes of Samsung and Sony to unveil their new mobile devices and it’s not going to be any different this time around. Sony has started sending out invites to its MWC 2016 event today which will take place on February 22nd.
This year Sony’s invite to its MWC event is actually quite simple, it doesn’t give away any hints about what the company might unveil at the event, in the past its invites have shed some light on what we can expect from the company at the event.
Considering the fact that at IFA in September last year Sony unveiled the Xperia Z5 models it’s a bit too soon for new flagship handsets, so it’s likely that we may not get to see new flagships from Sony. Instead, the focus might be on mid-range and low-end smartphones aside from wearable devices.
Sony’s Mobile World Congress 2016 event will take place on February 22nd at 08:30 CET in Barcelona. If you don’t have an invite and can’t be in Barcelona then don’t worry, we’ll be covering all of the news coming out of Sony’s MWC 2016 event right here on Ubergizmo.
