There are three different models to choose from: the FDR-AX53, the HDR-CX675, and the HDR-CX455. Starting with the first model, this model is designed for videographers who might want to “future-proof” their footage as it will be able to capture video in 4K resolution. It also sports a 20x optical zoom ZEISS lens, so zooming in on your subjects with clarity should not present an issue.
It also comes with features like Balanced Optical SteadyShot, so even at max zoom, it should still prove to be more stable than cameras without the feature. Next is the HDR-CX675. This model also features Balanced Optical SteadyShot with an Intelligent Active mode. This means that if you were to start running with the camera, like chasing an action shot, for example, it’s 5-axis image stabilizer will ensure your footage remains relatively steady.
Last but not least is the HDR-CX455 which is basically the more compact and lighter Handycam. It will feature Fast Intelligent AF and a 5.1 channel surround microphone. Its features are slightly more basic compared to the other models and will presumably be more affordable out of the three.
