By now we’re sure many are curious as to what the Nintendo NX could be about. Is it a home console? Could it be a portable console? Or maybe it could be a two-part kind of console? Like we said, it’s really anyone’s guess at the moment. However according to a recent tweet by Dr. Serkan Toto, some titles are rumored to be in the works.
According to his tweet, it seems that he has suggested that Nintendo could be planning on making Smash Bros. the launch title for the upcoming console. We’re not sure if this is a brand new Smash Bros. designed for the NX, or if it will simply be the current Super Smash Bros. that has been reworked and ported onto the console.
However given that we have seen Nintendo first-party titles do really well and help to boost console sales, it wouldn’t be surprising for Nintendo to choose a popular title like Smash Bros. to launch the NX with. Toto also adds that he has heard that the folks at Bandai Namco are developing several NX titles as well.
Once again we can’t be sure of what exactly that entails. Could it be brand new NX-exclusive titles? Or could we just be looking at existing Bandai Namco games that are just ported onto the NX. Either way take it with a grain of salt for now, but there is a chance that we could learn more about the NX in the coming months, if not at E3 2016 in June, so check back with us then for the details.
