As you can see, it looks like a lot of the dates have since been pushed to around the March and April timeframe. The earliest updates that will be arriving will be in February, but they seem to be only for Samsung’s current flagship handsets like the Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+, and the Galaxy Note 5.
Samsung’s older phones like the Galaxy S5, Note 4, and Note Edge appear to be arriving only in March/April. Based on the roadmap, it seems that all the updates have been approved so we’re guessing it’s really just a matter of waiting for them to be pushed out to the masses, although we’re not sure why they aren’t going out now if they are ready.
In any case we can’t say for sure that this roadmap is the real deal so take it with a grain of salt for now, but if you’re wondering why your Samsung phone hasn’t received its Android 6.0 Marshmallow update yet, hopefully this roadmap is accurate so that you have a date to look forward to.
