Come 28th of January, 2016, Square Enix is expected to release the next installment of the rebooted Tomb Raider franchise, Rise of the Tomb Raider, on the PC. That being said with the game’s beautiful graphics and massive environments, how do you think your PC will be able to handle the game?
Wonder no more because it looks like the minimum PC hardware specs to run the game has since been released, and interestingly enough it looks like you won’t need a $5,000 gaming rig to run it. For starters you will need a Windows 7 64-bit operating system, an Intel Core i3-2100 or AMD equivalent, 6GB of RAM, and 25GB of HDD space available.
As for the GPU, PC gamers will need at least an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 or an AMD HD7770, both with at least 2GB of VRAM and Version 11 of DirectX. Unfortunately we have no idea what the recommended specs are for the game, but safe to say if you run hardware that is better than what is being listed, you should be able to enjoy the game on higher settings.
In the meantime for PlayStation 4 gamers, you guys will still have to wait for your turn to get the game, which is expected to see a release only in the later part of 2016, assuming of course you are still interested by then.
