Late last month the Steam page for Rise of the Tomb Raider was published, indicating that the release of this title on Windows and Steam just might be around the corner. Since then we have seen a couple of indications point towards an impending release and today Square Enix has finally confirmed the Rise of the Tomb Raider release date for PC. As expected, the title arrives later this month.
While retaining the game’s narrative and perilous environments developers Crystal Dynamics and Nixxes Software have added several new features including Windows 10 support and 4K resolution.
Rise of the Tomb Raider for PC is going to be available as a digital download from Steam, the Windows Store, Square Enix e-store, Amazon and from other major retailers both in-store and online. The standard edition costs $59.99, whereas the Digital Deluxe edition costs $89.99 and includes a Season Pass and almost all current and future DLC content.
A Collector’s Edition of the title will also be available for $149.99, it includes the Digital Deluxe edition, a 12 inch Lara Croft statue, replicas of the jade necklace and Lara’s journal aside from a steel case. It will be available from the Square Enix e-store.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is going to be available for Windows 10 and Steam on January 28th, 2016.
