Thinking about upgrading your PC? If you are and you’re looking to get yourself a deal, it has been announced that starting from the 7th of January, those who purchase select NVIDIA GeForce GPUs will be able to get a free bundled copy of Square Enix’s Rise of the Tomb Raider, which had previously been an exclusive to the Xbox console.
The GeForce GPUs eligible for this bundle includes the GeForce GTX 970, 980, 980 Ti, and for those who are planning on purchasing gaming laptops, fret not as you guys are included as well. This is as long as your laptop comes with a GTX 970M or the 980M. Unfortunately a release date for the game has yet to be set, but we have to wonder if the 7th of January could be it.
Last we heard, Rise of the Tomb Raider was spotted on the Steam Store and a tweet from the official Windows Store also suggested that the game would be coming soon. The most recent listing on Steam has it pegged for January, but no specific dates were mentioned, so like we said the bundle, which is expected to kick off on the 7th of January, is a possibility.
For those unfamiliar, Rise of the Tomb Raider is the second installment in the rebooted Tomb Raider franchise. So far reviews of the first installment have been largely positive, and so has the reviews been of the second. Either way PC gamers looking forward to the game should keep their eyes peeled for its release.
