That being said, what can we expect from Polaroid’s smartphone efforts? It seems that based on the specs, nothing particularly fancy. Starting with the Polaroid Power. This is the company’s highest-end smartphone, at least out of the two models. It features a 6-inch Full HD display with a 64-bit octa-core processor under the hood that is accompanied by 3GB of RAM. It also sports 32GB of storage, a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera, a 3,000mAh battery and a price tag of $249.99.
Next up is the Polaroid Snap. This device will come in three sizes: 5-inch, 5.5-inch, and 6-inch options, but regardless the size of the display, they will all sport 720p HD resolutions. They will be powered by quad-core processors with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a 13MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera with a selfie flash, and will be priced $129.99-$179.99 depending on the size.
Both devices are expected to be come with Android 5.1 Lollipop and should be compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile. We suppose what makes them attractive is the fact that they are priced relatively low, so if you’re after a phone whose price won’t break the bank, these devices could be worth checking out when they are released in February.
