Polaroid Introduces New Snap+ Instant Print Camera
[CES 2016] Last year Polaroid introduced the Polaroid Snap. Basically, this is a camera that also comes with an instant print function, which we suppose is in line with what Polaroid is known for back in the day. That being said it looks like Polaroid has decided to give the camera bit of an upgrade and has since launched the Polaroid Snap+.
Announced at CES 2016, the Snap+ is basically a souped-up version of the original Snap, but at its core will remain the same. The camera will feature a 13MP sensor and a 3.4mm f/2.8 lens. It also sports a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, Full HD video recording, Bluetooth connectivity, a selfie mirror, microSD support, and like we said, its core feature remains which is a built-in Zink printer.
This lets users snap photos and print them instantly, making it great for trips and holidays where you want to have actual physical photos to remember your trip by, or maybe if you’re the scrapbooking sort of person who might appreciate such features. However, the bonus feature here is said to be Bluetooth.
Thanks to the Bluetooth connectivity and the Polaroid print app, the Snap+ can also act as a printer where you can print photos taken by your smartphone or tablet by connecting it via the app. Unfortunately, pricing of the Polaroid Snap+ has yet to be determined, but it is expected to be made available in Q4 2016.
