That being said, it looks like Panasonic is back with a follow-up device in the form of the Lumia CM10. Now you’re probably looking at the photo above and you’re thinking, isn’t that the CM1? You would be sort of correct because in reality, the CM10 isn’t that much different from the CM1. In fact it isn’t very different at all.
The only main difference is that Panasonic has removed the phone functionality in the camera, which basically means this is camera powered by Android. It will still sport the same 4.7-inch Full HD display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a 20MP 1-inch sensor with a 10mm f/2.8 lens. The camera by itself isn’t too shabby, although we’re not sure if the other features are really necessary.
The Panasonic Lumix CM10 is priced at around $850 and according to Panasonic, they are only planning on making 500 units a month. It is expected to launch in Japan come 25th of February, 2016.
