Huawei today introduced two new models for the Huawei Watch, called Elegant and Jewel, they are more suited towards women as they feature thinner bands, gold cases as well as jewels on the bezel.
The difference between these and other Huawei watch models is purely cosmetic, everything remains the same under the hood. The Huawei Watch was released last year and it was very well received, these new models will enable the company to reach even more consumers who might be interested in making the switch to a smartwatch.
Both the Huawei Watch Elegant and Jewel models have been fashioned from 316L cold-forged stainless steel and feature scratch resistant two-lawyer Sapphire crystal, that’s the kind of premium materials that you would expect from a conventional Swiss watch.
The Elegant has a distinctive top ring design with a rose-gold plated body. Huawei has teamed up with Swarovski for the Huawei Watch Jewel, this particular model features 68 Swarovski Zirconia jewels encircling the bezel. To match their distinctive look both the Elegant and Jewel will come with an exclusive selection of watch faces.
Huawei didn’t confirm today how much the two new models are going to cost but it did reveal that they will be available for purchase in the United States in the first quarter of 2016.
