Dropbox today announced that it’s further expanding its partnership with Microsoft to bring more productivity and cloud storage services to Windows 10 across PC and tablets. It has developed a new app just for Windows 10 devices that provides users with access to their files stored in Dropbox as well as a couple of new features that users on Microsoft’s latest operating system are likely to appreciate.

Dropbox for Windows 10 will allow users to drag and drop files into their Dropbox from Windows File Explorer, this even works between folders within an app, making it easier to move and copy files.

The Quick Search feature will allow users to find what they’re looking for faster, they only need to start typing a search term for results to pop up. Users can also set up interactive notifications to accept shared folder invitations without even having to launch the app.

It even has support for facial recognition, tapping into the Windows Hello feature in Windows 10, the new Dropbox app lets users either use their fingerprint, face or iris to unlock the app and gain access to all of their files. Additional features include the ability to add comments directly to files and being able to quickly access recent files using Jump List.

The new Dropbox app for Windows 10 is going to be released in the next few days, it will be available for download from the Windows Store.
