The entire update would weigh in at approximately 445MB, so you might want to ensure that your handset has enough battery power to begin with prior to starting the update process (more than 50% would generally suffice most of the time), and we would highly recommend that one makes a backup of all important information as you cannot tell just when Murphy would strike, not to mention being hooked up to a Wi-Fi network so that you need not have to burn through a large chunk of your data quota at one go.
This particular Android 6.0 Marshmallow update will debut in India, where the firmware would be bumped up to 24.11.22, and the standard Marshmallow goodies would be part of the deal – in addition to Google’s December security patch, of course. Do take note that there has been no reports of the Moto G Turbo Edition picking up the Marshmallow update in Mexico despite being released there first.
