Just last week it was announced that the Moto 360 Sport will be available via Motorola’s website. However if you’d prefer buying through Google because you might have some credit with them, or if you just prefer using Google’s website, you might be pleased to learn that the Moto 360 Sport will now be available via the Google Store as well.
For those who are unfamiliar with the differences between the Sport model and the regular model, basically, the Sport model is geared towards users with more active lifestyles. For example, it will sport a silicon strap which means that when you sweat, the band won’t absorb the sweat, unlike leather or cloth straps.
It also sports a display that will be more legible under direct sunlight, aimed more at users who are out running or cycling. However apart from that, the hardware under the hood of the smartwatch will remain identical as the regular version of the Moto 360, so at the end of the day, it really boils down to what you need: a classy-looking watch for the boardroom, or a sporty watch that you can wear during your exercise.
There is no difference in price from the Google Store and Motorola’s website. It is priced at $300 and will be eligible for free shipping.
