As you can see in the photo above, the Misfit Specter is a pair of in-ear headphones, but these aren’t your typical pair of headphones, these are actually smart headphones. Why smart, you ask? This is thanks to the fact that the headphones actually comes with an accelerometer built into them.
What this means is that in addition to you being able to listen to music while on the go, they can also keep track of your activity. For those who fall asleep with headphones on, the Specter can also be used to track your sleep. The headphones were designed in partnership with 1MORE and will feature dual driver technology.
The Specter headphones will play nicely with Misfit’s Link platform. Unfortunately additional details about the Specter such as its pricing and availability were not shared, but the company states that more details will be revealed soon as the headphones are expected to go on sale in the spring of 2016.
