The rivalry between Sony and Microsoft in the gaming market will continue as strong as ever in 2016, both have started to hype why their console is the best option for gamers in this new year, and they’re using the various methods at their disposal to get the word out. Microsoft has released a new video which hypes some of the Xbox One games that are due to be released later this year.
About a week ago Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios Present Shuhei Yoshida said that there’s an “unprecedented rush” of big games coming for the PlayStation 4 in 2016, while also pointing out that this year the long awaited PlayStation VR headset is also going to be released. “It’s good to have a PS4,” he said.
Microsoft is not one to let Sony enjoy the limelight, a new video has been released by Xbox UK which features Social Marketing Manager Graeme Boyd talking about some of the most highly anticipated titles for Microsoft’s flagship console set to arrive in 2016. The video takes a look at both Xbox One exclusives and multi-platform titles.
It goes without saying that 2016 is going to be an interesting year for gaming, particularly with the growing popularity of virtual reality. From the looks of it, both Sony and Microsoft are ready for whatever comes their way.
