Microsoft Offers Trade-In Program For The Apple Watch

The wearables space is a particularly competitive one. This means that companies are doing everything they can to get the leg up on the competition, whether it be by introducing new and exciting features, or undercutting. Recently it seems that Microsoft is trying to tempt Apple Watch users away with a trade-in program.

According to Microsoft’s trade-in program, Apple Watch owners can expect to receive as much as $250 for a 38mm model with a Milanese loop. What this means is that you could essentially trade-in your Apple Watch for a brand new Microsoft Band 2 without having to pay a single cent, which is a good deal if you’ve decided that maybe the Apple Watch isn’t for you.

Alternatively the trade-ins are also applicable to other wearables, like Fitbit, Sony, Nike, and more, although it seems that the Apple Watch is the only one that is valued the most (some of Fitbit’s devices are only valued at $10, according to Microsoft). We reckon that you can probably fetch a better price if you were to sell it off yourself.
