LG is going to showcase a plethora of new products at the International Consumer Electronics Show 2016 in Las Vegas this week and those products include its new lineup of UHD TVs. It’s IPS TV offerings include 65 inch and 86 inch models aside from the 65 inch and 75 inch models in its Super UHD lineup that promise higher color reproduction rate, advanced picture, and sound re-enhancing as well as HDR (High Dynamic Range) while boasting the company’s ultra slim design.
LG’s top of the line 65 inch UH9500 and 86 inch UH9550 models are claimed to have the “most advanced IPS display” in the industry with features like a contrast maximizer and True Black Panel, which is LG’s proprietary technology that minimizes reflections and improves contrast ratio for more comfortable viewing.
With HDR Plus both models can easily display 4K HDR content which is gradually being supported by online streaming services, the HDR effect is enhanced by LG’s Ultra Luminance technology that improves the contrast between dark and bright areas.
Viewers can watch near-HDR content from any standard source thanks to HDR-compatible HDMI ports and an SDR-to-HDR conversion engine. The company has worked with Harmon Kardon to develop a speaker system for its flagship models, promising high quality and detailed sound.
LG is going to showcase its new Ultra High Definition TVs at CES 2016 later this week, they’ll be released for the public a few months later.
