[CES 2016] There are times when you need to make a presentation on the fly, and if you have a laptop it obviously would not be practical to have a group of executives crowding around your 13-inch screen, right? This is where having a portable projector comes in handy.
If you do believe that such a device will come in handy, Lenovo has recently announced the ThinkPad Stack Mobile Projector. This is a pico projector small enough to fit in your pocket, or so Lenovo claims, although we reckon it would be more practical if you packed it into your bag.
This is a 150 lumens projector capable of projecting 720p resolution. It also features wireless connectivity and will support protocols such as Miracast and AirPlay. There is a built-in battery that is good for about 2 hours and a 1W native speaker so if your presentation has sound, or if you’re watching a movie, it should be enough to get the job done.
One of the unique features of the ThinkPad Stack Mobile Projector is that it is part of Lenovo’s Stack lineup. This means that you can literally stack the projector on top of the other devices to connect them together, like a hard drive or a charging station. The projector is priced at $399.99 and will be available April 2016.
