So far we have heard certain rumors about the iPhone 7, like how it could ditch the headphone port, and how it could also feature a larger battery and more storage. However it looks like we could finally be getting our first look at what we can only assume will be a series of leaked photos leading up to its announcement.
Thanks to a post on Apple Club (via 9to5Mac), an alleged iPhone 7 component has surfaced. Now from the photo above you might not be able to tell what it is, but supposedly this shows the backlight of the upcoming iPhone 7. The photo also shows the 3D Touch chip, but that’s to be expected, but at the same time we guess this rules out the possibility that this could be the iPhone 6c.
Unfortunately this photo does not really tell us anything revealing about the iPhone, safe for the fact that it comes with 3D Touch which like we said, is pretty much a given. However as noted by 9to5Mac, Apple Club had previously accurately leaked a schematic that showed off the iPhone 6’s camera hump, so they do have some credibility when it comes to rumors.
In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but presumably we will be looking at more leaked photos in the future so we guess we’ll have to wait and see if any of these photos actually lines up with the final product.
