In the first quarter of every new year, we get treated to some great new flagship handsets from the likes of Samsung, HTC, and LG. 2016 is not going to be any different. LG and Samsung are both expected to unveil new flagships at MWC 2016 next month, and according to a new rumor, HTC will be out with the HTC One M10 in March and it will start selling the handset come April 2016.

HTC has obviously not said anything right now about its smartphone plans for this year, it’s not something that smartphone manufacturers do usually, so it’s quite normal. It means that we have to rely on the rumor mill, for now, to get information about new handsets, even though the rumor mill can be hit or miss most of the time.

This rumor originates from China, as most rumors do, and claims that HTC’s next flagship smartphone is going to be unveiled in March. Since the flagship smartphones have been a part of its One lineup for a few years now it’s assumed that the next handset will be called HTC One M10 as its predecessor is called the HTC One M9, and the one before it, the HTC One M8.

It’s also claimed that the handset will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor, will feature a fingerprint sensor as well as a 3,000mAh battery. Full specs haven’t been leaked yet and there are no renders to gawk at. It’s pretty much a tight lid for now at HTC it seems, perhaps we might see more leaks about the HTC One M10 as March comes closer.
