This is according to a report from VentureBeat who has heard from some potential specs of the upcoming phone, as provided by a source who apparently was given hands-on time with the prototype of the device. According to them, the phone is indeed powered by the Snapdragon 820 and that it will pack 4GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage, expandable via microSD.
The phone is also rumored to feature a 5.1-inch QHD display and will come with a fingerprint scanner, with a 12MP UltraPixel camera with optical image stabilization, and will come with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow preinstalled, which we guess shouldn’t be a surprise for phones in this day and age.
Interestingly enough the report notes that there will not be BoomSound speakers, which could be a feature that some users might miss. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but MWC is taking place next month and there is a very strong chance we could learn more about HTC’s plans then, so remember to check back with us then for the details.
