Last year in June, the folks at Square Enix and IO Interactive decided to do something different with the Hitman Collector’s Edition. Instead of choosing what goes into the bundle, they decided to let gamers vote for what they think should go into the bundle. That being said, the votes are in and the final Collector’s Edition bundle has been officially unveiled.
Obviously the bundle will come with a copy of the game in the form of a digital download. This is the full experience version which is priced normally at $60. As you might have heard, Hitman has gone full episodic meaning that the game will be released in stages as opposed to all at once. It also allows gamers to buy parts of the game if they want, or all of it if they think they love it.
So basically the full experience includes all parts of the game, including those that will be released later on. In addition to the game, it will also feature a 10-inch Agent 47 “Chessmaster” statue as you can see in the image above. It will also be bundled with a hardcover 60-page art book curated by the game’s Art Director, Jonathan Rowe.
There will be an Agent 47 iconic red tie and clip set, and all of this will be packaged in a Premium Collector’s Edition packaging, which is essentially a nice box. It will be priced at $139.99 and pre-orders are expected to go live soon. Also by pre-ordering, you will be guaranteed a spot in the beta which will kick off on the 12th of February for the PS4, and the PC a week later. The main game itself, or at least for its first two missions, are pegged for a release on the 11th of March.
