Even if you’re not the sort to dine at fancy restaurants, there is a good chance you might have heard of the celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay, who apart from owning several notable restaurants, has also made appearances on TV shows like Hell’s Kitchen and MasterChef. However, it turns out that he will be making another appearance and, this time, it is on your phone.In a recent announcement by Glu Mobile, it seems that the app developer will be teaming up with Ramsay to create a game using his name. Now we can’t say for sure what the game will be about, but given that Ramsay is a chef, there is a very good chance that this might involve food of some kind. Maybe a restaurant management kind of game, we’re thinking.
In fact, this seems to have been hinted at in a statement made by Niccolo de Masi, Glu Chairman and CEO. “We believe that the combination of Gordon’s global fan base and Glu’s leadership in the time-management genre with titles like Cooking Dash and Diner Dash make this partnership a recipe for success.”
Glu Mobile, for those unfamiliar, is also behind other celebrity titles such as Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, which despite the family’s notoriety has seen quite a bit of success. In any case the game with Ramsay is expected to be released this summer, so we guess we’ll just have to wait and see what it will be about.
