Gamers if you are looking forward to getting your hands on the Xbox One exclusive title Gears of War 4, you might be pleased to learn that the game has been moved up in its release. According to Microsoft’s announcement last year, the game was pegged for the holiday season of 2016, meaning that it was expected towards the end of the year.
However according to a livestream broadcast held earlier today (via GameSpot), Microsoft announced that the game will be launched earlier than expected, and that instead of end of the year, we could be looking at a Fall 2016 release. For those who are just too eager to get the game, you might recall that the game’s beta is scheduled for this spring, so you’ll be able to get a taste of what’s to come.
Although since it is a beta, there is a chance that it might not be 100% ready and you might run into issues, so that’s worth taking note of. In order to get into the beta, you will need to have bought Gears of War Ultimate Edition, and if you haven’t then we guess you’d be out of luck. You could wait as it is possible that the beta will eventually be opened up to the public, but don’t take our word for it.
