According to a report from VG247, it seems that over in Amsterdam, a hotel called The Arcade Hotel has opened. In case the name wasn’t already obvious, this is a hotel dedicated to gamers, or at least has facilities that gamers might appreciate. All the rooms come with a console and games with no extra cost, and handheld consoles are shared amongst guests in the lobby where multiplayer games are played.
The lobby also plays host to regular consoles as well, along with a comic book library for those who might want to take a break from gaming. Speaking to VG247, the hotel’s owner Daniel Salmanovich said, “I wanted to create a place where travelers and gamers feel like they are staying at a friends home.”
If you’d like to find out more or book a room, then head on over to its website for the details on how.
